Boating-ham Social Row
Welcome to Bowdoinham Rowing’s Boatingham Social, set for Saturday, June 15, 2024. On this page you will find general information about what to expect on the day and the registration form.
Our base for the Boatingham Social will be the Mailly Waterfront in Bowdoinham at the public boat landing. Many people will be using the landing for launching boats and for the farmers market that will be open from 8am until noon (with lots of great vegetables and other locally produced items!), so it is important to follow our directions for parking (particularly boat trailers). We will have signs up and people to help you find parking.
Clubs are encouraged to bring a boat(s), but bringing a boat is not required for participation. For those Clubs bringing boats, participation from your Club is not limited to the number of seats in your boat(s). We will do our best to find seats in boats for all participants!
You can expect a fun day with activities on land and water. Bowdoinham Rowing will provide lunch as well as a stainless-steel mug with Bowdoinham Rowing’s new logo (while supplies last) to all registrants.
We are asking that everyone register by Club so that we can be ready for the number of boats coming as well as the number of participants.
The registration fee for each person is $35.
Want to add someone after you’ve registered? No problem! Just send an email to us at bowdoinhamrowing@gmail.com and we can make the addition. Registration by individuals on the day is also possible.
Schedule for the day:
9:30 am Registration (and signing of waivers) at the Bowdoinham public boat launch
10:30 – 2ish Activities on and off the water, including lunch from about 12:30
In case we are rained out on Saturday, our rain date is Sunday, June 16th.
